7 revenue streams from LinkedIn (Part 1)

And 3 you can start in the next 60 days

The first $250 I made from creating content on LinkedIn came from helping someone with their resume.

They landed a job shortly after and that became my first income steam that came as a result of creating content on LinkedIn.

But as the years have gone by, those income streams have evolved. Today, I’m going to break down all 7 revenue streams that I have from LinkedIn so you can start thinking outside the box.

You’ll notice that not all of them require you to own & operate a traditional business. The most important thing for you to understand is that once you get attention, you can generate as much revenue as you want. So here they are:

  1. Career Coaching - A lot of people think career coaches sell snake oil and let me be clear - many of them do. But if you are in the top 10% of your field, you need to understand that there are thousands of people who are hoping to one day get to where you are - and you are the most qualified to help them.

Career coaching is becoming more vertical and helping someone add an additional $30,000-80,000 to their compensation by showing them the way will literally change their family forever.

I made my first $500,000 helping more than 400 people land new jobs earning over $18 million in total compensation as a result.

  2. Brand deals - Companies love spending money on marketing because they always need to acquire customers to survive. Once, you’ve built up a following of 10,000 followers, you can start doing sponsored posts for companies that align with your audience & brand.

Think of your favourite tools like Notion, ClickUp or Teal. They work with creators to grow their brand awareness every week and they spend a lot of money doing it.

Last year, I earned over $110,000 promoting companies I already love to my audience so they can use them too. One of my students earned over $250,000 partnering with companies on campaigns on LinkedIn over the past 16 months - zero employees needed.

  3. Advising/consulting companies - In 2022, I was approached by a startup that had just raised $4.2 million for its seed round. They wanted me to advise them on how to use social media to attract new customers. They found me through my LinkedIn content.

But that wasn’t the best part. They offered me $50,000 worth of shares and paid me a stipend of $2,000 per month to meet with them for 30 minutes weekly. Once you learn how to earn more with your mind than your time, your earning potential increases. Again - zero employees needed.

These are just 3 of the 7. I didn’t want this email to be too long. The point is that there is more opportunity than you can imagine if you stay consistent on LinkedIn. Companies and decision-makers are constantly looking for things to invest in!

I’m hoping this helps you unlock some new ideas.
